It was a pleasure to be under the care of Mr Christian Macutkiewicz for my gall bladder removal. He was extremely personable, explained everything in great detail and his after patient care was second to none. He went out of his way to find me the following when I ended with an overnight stay! Would highly recommend this doctor

From start to finish this has been an excellent experience. Initial consultation established a trusting relationship, and I felt complete confidence in going forward. I felt supported to make a fully informed decision about treatment. This was promptly followed through by confirmatory scan and a simple phonecall to agree to laporoscopic day surgery. This was carried out at Spire Manchester with day-case surgical treatment which was perfectly organised, efficient and effective. I went home clearly advised on post-op care, which was trouble-free and allowed me a speedy well-planned recovery. I'm very grateful for the care I received from all staff involved.

I genuinely did not expect to have such a brilliant experience, and I’m so thankful. I found Christian after searching for a surgeon to perform a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. It was important to me to find a surgeon who was highly rated and Christian was my first choice. I can genuinely not recommend Christian enough. Any concerns that I had in the lead up or in post operative care were addressed in a friendly and professional matter and Christian made sure I understood the surgery completely. It’s rare to find a surgeon with such great bedside manner who will put your mind at ease whilst performing such excellent surgery, I would recommend Christian to anyone. Feeling safe and valued as a patient is so important and Christian made sure this was the case. If I ever needed similar surgery again, I would contact Christian without hesitation.
